About us
Houston custom cabinet makers and remodelers
Ace Kustoms Cabinets & Trim is a locally owned shop that has been building for Greater Houston homeowners for 15+ years.
A small crew that builds what it sells
Ace Kustoms started as a cabinet and trim shop, and that's still the core of what we do. We don't resell a cabinet line or hand your project to whoever is free that week. The people who measure your kitchen go back to our Houston shop, cut the plywood, glue up the face frames, build the doors and drawers, and then come back to install them.
Over time homeowners asked us to take on more of the job around the cabinets — the countertops, tile, lighting, trim and doors — so today we run complete kitchen remodels and bathroom remodels as well as single pieces like a vanity or a built-in bookcase.
Keeping the work in-house is a deliberate choice. It's how we control tolerances, finish quality and schedule, and it's why we can answer questions about any part of your project without checking with a third party.
Standards we work to on every job
Plywood and hardwood, not particleboard
Cabinet boxes are built from furniture-grade plywood; face frames and doors from solid maple, oak, walnut or paint-grade hardwood. These materials hold screws and stay flat in a humid Gulf Coast house.
Measured on site, built to fit
We measure each wall, opening and ceiling in your home and build to those numbers. On install day, panels and fillers are scribed to the walls so cabinets sit tight without wide caulk lines.
The builders are the installers
There's no hand-off between shop and field. The crew that built your cabinets knows exactly how they go together and why each detail was made the way it was.
A walkthrough before we leave
We go through every door, drawer and seam with you at the end. Anything that needs adjusting gets adjusted then, and our craftsmanship warranty covers the joinery and finish after that.

Where we work
Our shop is in Houston, and we serve homeowners across Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston, Liberty and Chambers counties. That covers everything from 1950s bungalows inside the Loop to new subdivisions in Katy and Conroe, coastal homes in Galveston County and acreage properties in Liberty County.
Each of those settings asks something different of cabinetry and trim — humidity, salt air, slab movement, uneven older walls — and we plan materials and installation methods around them. Browse every area we serve.
