Custom cabinets, vanities, built-ins, trim and remodels for homeowners in 18 Fort Bend County communities.
Fort Bend County runs southwest from Houston along US 59 and west toward Fulshear and the Brazos River bottomland. Ace Kustoms builds custom cabinets, trim and built-ins for homes across the county, including Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford, Richmond, Rosenberg, Fulshear and the Fort Bend side of Katy. Everything is built in our Houston shop and installed by our own crew, so the people who fit your cabinets are the same people who made them and know every piece.
Much of the county is made up of master-planned communities built from the 1970s to today. That means a lot of our Fort Bend work is upgrading what the builder installed: replacing short upper cabinets with stacked or full-height runs, adding a scullery or butler pantry, finishing out game rooms and home offices, and swapping wire closet shelving for wood systems. In Richmond and Rosenberg we also see older homes and farmhouse-style builds on larger lots.
Our process stays the same wherever you live in the county. We measure in your home and talk through how you actually use the space, then bring real samples of wood species, door styles and finishes so you can compare them side by side. Cabinets are built in our Houston shop from hardwoods and furniture-grade plywood and installed by the same team that built them. We finish with a walkthrough and back our joinery and finish with a craftsmanship warranty.
Fort Bend housing is largely slab-on-grade construction in planned communities. Older sections of Sugar Land and Missouri City date to the 1970s and 1980s, with traditional two-story plans, oak cabinets and 8- to 9-foot ceilings. Newer communities toward Fulshear, Richmond and Sienna tend to have 10-foot or higher ceilings, open kitchens and large islands, but builder-grade cabinets and minimal trim. That combination makes taller uppers, stacked crown, island rebuilds and paneled built-ins common requests. Out toward Needville, Simonton and the county's rural edges, homes on acreage often call for shop and garage cabinetry and practical mudrooms.
Fort Bend sits on flat, low ground along the Brazos River and its creeks, and humidity stays high most of the year. We use plywood boxes and stable door construction to handle seasonal swelling. For homes in areas that have seen high water, we can discuss raised toe kicks, moisture-resistant bases in laundry rooms and garages, and finishes that tolerate wipe-downs. Good ventilation in bathrooms protects vanity finishes over time.
