Harris County · Kitchens & Baths
Swollen particleboard under the sink is a common sight in Spring bathrooms. Our solid wood and plywood vanities are built to replace it for good anywhere in Harris County.
Spring is a large unincorporated area in north Harris County along I-45, just south of The Woodlands and Spring Creek. Its historic center, Old Town Spring, has shops in older buildings, while the area around it is made up of many subdivisions. The Hardy Toll Road and the Grand Parkway cross the area.
Spring's housing is mostly suburban homes built from the 1970s onward, with newer subdivisions closer to the Grand Parkway. Many older homes have oak cabinets, soffits and builder trim, and some neighborhoods along creeks have flooded. Kitchen remodels, closet upgrades and raised-base cabinets in laundry rooms are frequent projects, along with game room built-ins.
Powder rooms and narrow baths in Spring are where a custom vanity pays off most. A shallow 18-inch-deep floating unit or a corner vanity can free up floor space and door swing that a standard box would block, making a tight room feel noticeably larger. Shallow drawers above the sink and a narrow pull-out beside it can hold more than a deep standard box. We also look at mirror and sconce placement so a slim vanity still feels balanced in the room.
Every project starts with an in-home measurement in Spring. We build in our Houston shop and the same crew handles installation, so the person you talk to at the estimate is accountable for the result. Learn more about our full custom bathroom vanities service.
We can build linen towers, recessed medicine cabinet surrounds, or a makeup area at seated height in the same wood and finish, so the bathroom looks planned rather than pieced together from different stores.
Every vanity is built in our Houston shop and installed by our in-house crew, who level it on your slab, anchor it to studs, and coordinate the top and sink placement with your plumber or ours.
Plywood boxes resist swelling far better than the particleboard used in most big-box vanities. We seal interiors and the underside, and finish sink-base floors with a durable coat so a small leak does not turn the bottom into mush.
We size the vanity to your wall, leaving code-friendly clearance to the toilet centerline and room for door swing. Counter height is set to suit you, typically 34 to 36 inches for adults, with a toe-kick tall enough to clear baseboard.

Bathrooms in Houston see moisture from both directions: steam from inside and humid air from outside, especially in homes where the AC cycles less during mild months. That is why we build vanities from plywood, seal every surface and leave a small gap at the floor so mopping water does not wick into the base. Many older slab homes have drains coming up through the floor rather than the wall, which limits drawer layouts, so we plan around them. In coastal areas, we choose hinges and slides with better corrosion resistance. We also recommend an exhaust fan that vents outdoors, since no finish will survive a bathroom that stays damp for hours.
Houston humidity is the main thing we design around. Solid wood moves with the seasons, so we use furniture-grade plywood for cabinet boxes and shelves, and frame-and-panel doors that let panels float. Sink bases get extra finish protection, and in neighborhoods along bayous or in flood-prone zones we can raise toe kicks or use moisture-resistant materials on the lowest components. Keeping the house conditioned during installation helps everything settle in properly.
As a general planning range, a custom single-sink vanity in Greater Houston often starts around $1,800 to $3,500 installed for the cabinet, while a 72-inch double vanity with drawers may run roughly $4,000 to $8,500 before countertop and plumbing.
